Greece is investing €780 million ($830.9 million) in 21 initiatives to protect marine biodiversity and tackle coastal pollution, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced ahead of the Our Ocean conference in Athens. These initiatives include creating two marine parks in the Ionian and Aegean Seas, covering around 32% of Greece's waters. The conference will be attended by dozens of countries.
