Food solutions company SpartanNash has acquired Metcalfe's Market, a family-owned grocery retailer in Wisconsin, for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition includes three stores in Madison and Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Upon the deal's completion, all Metcalfe's Market employees will be retained, and their storefront, branding, and shopper experience will remain unchanged. The addition of Metcalfe's Market is expected to increase SpartanNash's presence in Wisconsin to seven stores.
