Elkhart police chase ends with suspect crashing, barricading, and SWAT taking him into custody.
A police chase in Elkhart ended with a suspect crashing into a pole, barricading himself inside his vehicle, and eventually being taken into custody by the Elkhart County SWAT team. The suspect was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and no other individuals were believed to be involved. Intersections at Lusher and 6th, as well as Lusher and 8th, were blocked off during the incident.
