Body found in Lake Whitney, Hamden; ongoing investigation, autopsy scheduled.
A body was found in Lake Whitney, Hamden, on Monday morning. Authorities responded to the area of Hartford Turnpike and Rogers Road at around 11:15 a.m. A deceased male was removed from the water by the Hamden Fire Department. The Medical Examiner's Office conducted a preliminary investigation without finding any signs of trauma, and an autopsy will be conducted on Tuesday. The investigation remains ongoing as police try to identify the body.
