Australian athlete Patrick Murtagh joined the Jacksonville Jaguars' offseason roster through the International Player Pathway (IPP) program in 2024. Previously playing Australian Rules Football, Murtagh was with the Detroit Lions in 2023 but left due to an injury. The NFL's IPP program, started in 2017, allows international athletes to compete, improve, and pursue an NFL roster spot.
