Argentina buys 24 F-16 jets from Denmark for 2.1 billion Danish kroner ($300m).
Argentina has bought 24 F-16 jets from Denmark for its air force. The purchase, worth 2.1 billion Danish kroner ($300 million), will make Argentina part of the global F-16 family, according to the Danish defense minister, Troels Lund Poulsen. Denmark is upgrading to new F-35 aircraft, and the nearly 40-year-old F-16 jets being sold to Argentina have been thoroughly maintained and technologically updated.
