16-year-old and 13-year-old receive compensation for inappropriate anti-psychotic drug prescriptions by South Kerry Camhs.

Two teenagers who were treated by South Kerry Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (Camhs) have settled their High Court actions. Both boys were awarded compensation and an "uplift" payment for their treatment experience. The now 16-year-old received €77,500 and the 13-year-old received €30,000. It was claimed that the 16-year-old was inappropriately prescribed an anti-psychotic drug for a period of 14 months.
