19-year-old forward Cutter Gauthier, top NHL draft pick and NCAA goal leader, signed a three-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks, debuting against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Anaheim Ducks have signed top young player Cutter Gauthier to a three-year, entry-level contract, beginning this season. The 19-year-old forward was the fifth overall pick in the 2022 NHL Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers but was traded to the Ducks in January. Gauthier led the NCAA in goals this season, scoring 38 for Boston College, and is expected to make his NHL debut on Thursday against the Vegas Golden Knights.
