10-year-old boy falls at Lesmurdie Falls, airlifted to Perth Children's Hospital after vertical rescue.
A young boy, under 10 years old, fell at Lesmurdie Falls in Forrestfield and was airlifted to Perth Children's Hospital by RAC Rescue helicopter. Emergency services including fire and rescue personnel, SES crews, and St John Ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene on Monday afternoon. The boy was rescued in a "vertical rescue" operation from the bottom of the falls and transported to safety before being flown to the hospital.
