3 sculptures by Tauranga artist Whare Thompson are unveiled along Cameron Road on Te Papa Peninsula as part of the road's upgrade. Crafted from Corten steel and Hinuera stone, the sculptures depict a traditional wooden digging stick, a storehouse, and care & respect for people. They accompany 8 interpretive panels sharing Māori and European history and aim to connect with the area's rich cultural past.
