Robert F. Kennedy Jr. held a convention in Iowa to qualify for the state's presidential ballot as an independent candidate, attracting around 686 delegates from over 35 counties. Kennedy and his allies aim to secure a ballot line in all 50 states, causing concern among allies of President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, who fear losing enough votes to swing the election. Currently, only Utah has confirmed Kennedy's candidacy.
