2023 Peter McDonald Premiership runners-up Mudgee Dragons have signed former NRL forward Zac Saddler for the 2024 season. Saddler, who made his NRL debut with Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in 2021 and played three games, joins the Dragons after reaching out to coach Clay Priest. Saddler's NRL career was cut short due to a brain bleed suffered from a fractured skull in a game away to Newcastle Knights.
