Pakistan's Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, revealed overbilling of 830 million electricity units in Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) alone. The government is addressing power theft and overbilling in power distribution companies, with full support from Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif for the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in their campaign against overbilling. FIA and the Power Ministry will also launch a campaign against power theft in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
