Sydney's Star Casino faces a second inquiry over alleged misconduct and management dysfunction under its suspended license. The inquiry, led by Adam Bell SC, will investigate allegations of falsified customer welfare checks, disclosure discrepancies, a coup plot, and a $3.2m theft by patrons. The Star Entertainment Group is currently under scrutiny for falling revenues and compliance issues, including a notorious gang-linked junket operator running an illicit cage within a premium gaming room and Chinese debit card transactions disguised as hotel expenses.
