Three men arrested in Nelson after deliberately driving into a herd of deer, killing a stag. Police allege the incident occurred at 3am on Marsden Valley Rd in Stoke. Video footage of the event was uploaded online. Three men were arrested, and two other 16-year-olds were questioned. A 20-year-old man was charged with perverting the course of justice, reckless driving, and unlawful hunting, while a 19-year-old man was charged with unlawful hunting and ill-treatment of a wild animal.
