VHI, Ireland's largest health insurance provider, is retiring four of its most popular plans, affecting 130,000 customers, including older members who renewed for full cover of major orthopedic and ophthalmic procedures. The plans being phased out are Health Plus Extra, Health Plus Access, Health Plus Excess, and Health Access. Affected customers must switch to a different plan when they reach their next renewal date.
