1.3 GW Codling Wind Park, Ireland's largest offshore wind farm, appoints Danish firm COWI for FEED and foundation design.
Danish engineering firm COWI has been appointed for FEED and detailed foundation design work for Ireland's largest phase one offshore wind farm, the 1.3 GW Codling Wind Park. Located southeast of Dublin in the Irish Sea, the project is a joint venture between Fred. Olsen Seawind and EDF Renewables. With a planned capacity of 1.3 GW, the wind farm aims to supply over a million Irish homes with clean, renewable energy, reducing 1.7 million tonnes of CO2 annually.
