Finland's consumer price inflation slowed to 2.2% in March, its lowest level in 31 months, according to preliminary data from Statistics Finland. The decrease was attributed to milder housing loan interest rates, lower electricity prices, and a deepening annual decline in food and non-alcoholic beverages prices. The EU's harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP) grew at a slower pace, increasing 0.6% annually in March, compared to 1.1% in February.
