Delhi Water Minister Atishi has written to Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena, seeking the suspension of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) CEO after a woman was killed in a quarrel over a water tap in Delhi's Farsh Bazar area. Atishi has also urged the L-G to set up an independent inquiry into the actions of the Chief Secretary and officers of the Finance Department, Urban Development Department, and the DJB, stating that their actions led to a lack of funds for essential water works.
