1 dead, 5 injured in crash near Miramichi: A 37-year-old man died and five people were injured in a head-on crash near Derby Junction, N.B., on Saturday evening. Police believe the accident occurred when the SUV, traveling northbound on Route 8, crossed the center line and collided with a pickup truck. The driver of the SUV died at the scene, while the occupants of the pickup truck were hospitalized with significant injuries.
