The Chinese yuan has strengthened against a basket of currencies, including the US dollar, euro, and Japanese yen, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System. The CFETS yuan exchange rate composite index increased to 100.05. The yuan's value is determined by a weighted average of prices offered by market makers before the opening of the interbank market each business day.
