BBC Radio 2 announces Mark Goodier as the new host for Steve Wright's beloved Pick of the Pops show following the iconic DJ's tragic death in February. Goodier, a close friend of Wright, will take over the Saturday lunchtime slot from July. BBC Radio 2 Head of Radio 2, Helen Thomas, praised Goodier's passion for chart countdowns and welcomed his return to the station.
