Australian dairy co-op Norco resumes ice cream exports to Japan after a $100M 12-month reconstruction project on its Lismore plant, damaged by floods. The 70-year-old factory will now export 1 million liters of ice cream to Japan in 2024-2025. The 23-year relationship with Japanese customers played a key role in restoring the factory to full production. Norco also sells ice cream into New Zealand and explores expansion prospects in China, South East Asia, and North America.
