Qatar's Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, and UAE President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, discussed their countries' fraternal relations and ways to strengthen them during a recent phone call. They emphasized the need to reduce escalation and avoid expanding conflict in the region, as well as the importance of a ceasefire in Gaza and occupied Palestinian territories to achieve a lasting and comprehensive peace.
