Chinese aid has helped Suriname improve its agricultural sector through the Suriname Agricultural Technical Cooperation Center, launched in 2022. The project offers training sessions to over 300 individuals. Surinamese President Chandrikapersad Santokhi attended the launch ceremony and praised China's technologies for fostering high-yield, high-quality agricultural produce and improving the livelihoods of local farmers.
