SNP's independence papers, costing up to £11 per download, face criticism for poorly addressing currency, trade, and borders.
The Scottish National Party's (SNP) independence papers, costing taxpayers up to £11 per person who reads them, have faced criticism for failing to credibly address challenging topics such as currency, trade, and borders. The most expensive paper, on marine sector proposals, cost £14,059 but only had 1,295 downloads, equating to £10.85 per view. The SNP's independence minister, Jamie Hepburn, receives an annual salary of £81,449.
