Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered a "special court martial" of corrupt police officials as part of her zero-tolerance policy against corruption and bribery. The decision was made during a meeting to review the law and order situation in the province. A special audit system will also be implemented to identify corrupt and unprofessional police officials, with those found guilty facing court-martial.
