Nigeria's National Coordinator of the Financing Safe Schools Initiative, Mrs Halima Iliya, plans to involve hunters and vigilantes in intelligence gathering to combat attacks on schools nationwide. Engagements and sensitization of students, parents, and teachers will commence in the second quarter of the year. States with local vigilantes will train hunters, vigilantes, and volunteers; states without registered vigilantes will advocate for youth involvement.
