The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued a notice to Maharashtra's government & DGP over the death of four workers in Mumbai during a sewage cleaning operation. The workers died without wearing any protective gear. The NHRC demands a report within four weeks, including implementation status of Supreme Court guidelines and NHRC advisories on hazardous cleaning operations.
