Multiple sideshows involving cars and spectators were reported in Oakland early Sunday morning at locations including Claremont and College avenues, Alcatraz and Telegraph avenues, Derby Avenue, and Mandela Parkway. The Oakland Police Department received reports of the activities at around 2 a.m. and made several arrests. Cars were set on fire at some locations, and one video showed a car hitting a police car.
