In Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, two soldiers and a high-value terrorist were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Buner district. The targeted terrorist, Saleem Rabbani, carried a reward of Rs 5 million and was involved in numerous attacks against security forces, extortion, and target killings of civilians. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated that the area is being cleared of possible terrorist presence following the operation.
