Edmonton hosts first-ever Métis Two-Spirit LGBTQIA+ gathering on 2 days, featuring workshops, guest speakers, and panelists. The event aims to create a sense of belonging for the Métis 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Organized by Otipemisiwak Métis government youth department, Edmonton 2 Spirit Society, and Rupertsland Institute, the gathering welcomed high school students and allies to discuss challenges and ways to create a more inclusive environment.
