A house fire in Danville, Illinois killed one person and five pets. Firefighters were called to the scene at 11:52 p.m. on Friday, where they found heavy flames coming from the front and sides of the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Illinois State Fire Marshals and the Danville Fire Department. No working smoke alarms were found in the home, and the Red Cross is assisting the displaced family.
