Rockies right-hander Daniel Bard, in the final season of a $19M, two-year deal, will miss the entire 2024 season due to surgery to repair the flexor tendon in his right elbow. Bard has not pitched this year after undergoing knee surgery in February. In 2023, the 39-year-old pitcher had a 4.56 ERA and one save in 50 games; his previous anxiety and control problems resurfaced last year.
