76-year-old Missouri man Paul Moriuchi drowned while attempting to rescue his dog from Bull Creek near Branson. The incident occurred around noon on April 11th, and Moriuchi was not wearing a life jacket. The Taney County Sheriff's Office and Western Taney County Fire Department assisted in the attempted rescue and retrieval of Moriuchi's body. The victim's dog was found a mile downstream.
