29-year-old man from Glenorchy dies in police custody after being arrested for acting "suspicious and erratic" in Moonah area. The man was found unresponsive in Hobart Reception Prison and died despite police and paramedic attempts to revive him. An investigation by Tasmania Police's professional standards command has been launched, and the Integrity Commission has been notified. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
