40-year-old man critically injured after being shot in abdomen in Banbridge, Co Down. The incident occurred at a car park on Rathfriland Road and is being investigated by police, who are considering a link to a vehicle reported on fire 20 minutes later in the Drone Hill Road area. Several roads were closed while the police examined the scene, and a man in his 40s has been arrested in connection with the investigation.
