Windfall Bio, a methane-consuming microbe startup, raised $28m in Series A funding to expand commercialisation efforts. The Menlo Park-based firm supplies microbes to sectors with high methane emissions, converting emissions into fertiliser for agriculture or as a revenue stream. The company targets short-term climate solutions, with its approach offering a quicker return on investment compared to carbon capture.
