Quebec's Public Security Department reports "major" flooding on a river north of Montreal due to heavy rainfall on Thursday and Friday. Water flow on the Rivière du Nord in St-Jérôme reached over 266 cubic metres per second, up from 64 cubic metres per second on Wednesday. The department also reports medium flooding on three other rivers and minor flooding at six other water level monitor stations.
