Michigan State University's Board of Trustees approved a $335m biomedical research center in Detroit, set to be a joint venture with Henry Ford Health. The seven-story, 335,000-square-foot facility, located near Amsterdam Street and Third Avenue, is part of a $3bn "Future of Health" development with Henry Ford, MSU and the Detroit Pistons. The project includes a new hospital tower, campus and mixed-use residential buildings.
