Johannesburg faced power outages since Friday, primarily due to faulty overhead transmission lines, tree damage, and technical issues. Major outages occurred in Roodeport, Gauteng, and other areas due to tree damage at the Kloofendal 88kV substation. City Power has been working to resolve these issues and restore power across the city while addressing additional power disruptions in Witpoortjie, Grobler Park, and Weltevredenpark.
