Ghana reaches staff-level agreement with IMF for $360m tranche, pending Executive Board approval.
Ghana has reached a staff-level agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for the release of a $360 million tranche, pending approval by the IMF's Executive Board. The agreement follows a strong performance by Ghana under the IMF's 36-month Extended Credit Facility program. The release of funds would bring the total financial support provided by the IMF since May 2023 to approximately $1.56 billion.
