Former Thunder Bay police chief Sylvie Hauth arrested, charged with obstruction of justice and breach of trust.
Former Thunder Bay police chief Sylvie Hauth has been arrested and charged by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with two counts of obstruction of justice and one count each of obstructing a public or peace officer and breach of trust by a public officer, making her the third member of the Thunder Bay Police Service to be charged in the OPP investigation. The investigation began in late 2021.
