Dublin's Land Development Agency and Dublin City Council plan to build almost 400 apartments, 65% for low- and middle-income workers under the State's cost-rental scheme, along the Grand Canal in Dublin. The Bluebell Waterways development, on a 2.8-hectare site near the canal's fifth lock, will offer a mix of studio, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, with 35% designated as social housing. The €100m investment will provide over 500 new cost-rental units across five counties.
