Clemson women's basketball coach Shawn Poppie appoints Mississippi's Chris Ayers as associate head coach. Ayers, who spent six years with the Rebels, helped Mississippi reach the last three NCAA Tournaments. Poppie aims to fill one more full-time assistant position. Ayers' experience in recruiting and player development at the highest level is considered a valuable addition to Poppie's staff.
