Canada will provide $132 million in aid for people fleeing Sudan's year-long civil war, including $100 million in humanitarian aid for those displaced within Sudan and in neighbouring countries. The funding will also be used for development projects focusing on sexual and reproductive health for women in Sudan and South Sudan. International Development Minister Ahmed Hussen made this announcement ahead of a conference in Paris aimed at addressing the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.
