Aecon Group Inc., Acciona, and Pomerleau have been chosen as the preferred proponent for the stations contract on BC's Surrey Langley SkyTrain Project. The consortium will design and construct eight stations, three transit exchanges, nine power substations, and a 250-meter guideway at the SkyTrain's terminus station. Financial closure is expected in Q2 2024. The project aims to extend the Expo Line 16 km from King George Station to Langley City, with an estimated $4 billion cost and expected completion in late 2028.
