Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reported a 9% increase in Q4 net profit to Rs 12,434 crore and proposed a final dividend of Rs 28 per share for FY24.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) reported a 9% rise in its Q4 net profit to Rs 12,434 crore, up from Rs 11,392 crore in Q4 of FY23. Revenue increased by 3.5% to Rs 61,237 crore. The operating margin expanded by 150 basis points to 26%, and the net margin expanded by 100 basis points to 20.3%. For the full year, net profit rose by 10.5% to Rs 46,585 crore, while revenue climbed by 6.8% to Rs 2,40,893 crore. The company proposed a final dividend of Rs 28 per share for FY24. TCS also announced a salary hike for its over six lakh employees ranging from 4.5% to 7%. The company plans to hire 40,000 freshers in FY25.
