SAG-AFTRA union reaches a tentative deal with major record labels, including Warner Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment, securing AI protections and increasing minimum salaries for actors and other media professionals. The deal covers the period from 2021 to 2026, and has been unanimously approved by SAG-AFTRA's executive committee. AI protections require consent and the terms "artist", "singer" and "royalty artist" now refer to humans only.
