Nigerian scholar Prof. Wale Adebanwi of University of Pennsylvania wins 2024 Guggenheim Fellowship.

Nigerian scholar Prof. Wale Adebanwi has won the prestigious Guggenheim Fellowship, a recognition awarded to individuals for career achievements and promise. Adebanwi, a Presidential Penn Compact Professor at University of Pennsylvania, is among 188 winners of the 2024 awards. The Guggenheim Foundation has awarded over $400m in fellowships to 19,000 fellows since 1925. This year, there were over 3,000 applicants across diverse disciplines.
